Wasps Make Rainbow Nests When They Have Colored Paper

University of Florence biology student Mattia Menchetti gave a European paper wasp colony strips of different colored paper. Eventually, the insects used the paper to construct rainbow nests. Pretty neat! Does that make having a wasp nest in my general vicinity more appealing? Absolutely not. But pretty neat nonetheless.
