Soft dreamy curls are any girls' ultimate fantasy! They catch the sunlight at the perfect angles and give you a bouncy, sprightly, and confident persona. And of course, these gorgeous curls go with just about any outfit and hairdo that you can think of! You don't really need an entire army of curlers to achieve this look. If you've got bubble wrap, then you'll do just fine! Because here are some directions and a video which will help us learn how to curl our hair using just that!
1. First of all, prep your hair up with some styling cream or leave-in conditioner;
2. Cut out wide strips of the bubble wrap, and roll it up to make them about an inch thick in diameter;
3. Roll a section of your hair up all the way till the scalp using this rolled up bubble wrap;
4. Bring the ends of the wrap together and secure with a rubber band;
5. Repeat for all sections of your hair and leave on overnight;
6. Roll your hair out in the morning and comb through gently with your fingers.
You are now the proud owner of some gorgeous looking curls!

Whether it's a spur of the moment, or something you've been planning over the years, you must have agreed that at least once, at one point in our life, we have the urge to get a tattoo. Though many, after serious considerations decide not to get one done, some others do. Some may be hesitant considering the pain they have to go through during the process; but there are a few more reasons you need to seriously ponder on before deciding whether you'll get or not a tattoo:
1. Not a big deal anymore
Being tattooed used to get a myriad of reactions from people. Some abhorred it, some found it beautiful, some were inspired, some respected you and so on. But ever since its heavy commercialization, every other person you know has tattoo. So you don't stand out anymore if you have got one!
2. Possibility of regrets
Tattoos are permanent, your personality is not! What you like when you are young may repulse you as you grow older. Also, sometimes the tattoo artist or you yourself may make mistakes, especially if the tattoo contains writing.
3. It's permanent
You may be rolling your eyes when reading this. Why, you may have thought, you are stating the obvious. Well, there's no harm in contemplating this fact before deciding that you want to have a tattoo. Inking your significant other's name on visible parts of the body sounds like a romantic move that will sweep them off their feet; but think ahead! If the relationship doesn't work out, you are left with a permanent sign on your body!
4. It's unhealthy
In some serious cases, inking may lead to flesh damages or infection so severe, the tattooed body part has to be amputated. Now, you may feel that won't happen to you; but then again, there are more visible health risks. Tattooing equipments that are unsterile can transmit some infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, or hepatitis. For the same reason, if you regularly donate blood, you won't be able to do so at least for a year. This is done to prevent transmission of serious diseases through blood. Allergic reactions are also found in some cases; causing the tattooed area to swell and turn red. You can never be sure what your body can and can't take; so just play it safe.
5. Removing doesn't solve the problem
But I can always remove it, you may argue. This may be true, to a certain extent. But remember, tattoo removal isn't as simple as erasing pencil's mark on a paper. One, it's going to cost you a lot, and two, it's incredibly painful. The larger your tattoo is the longer and more repetitive the process has to take. Methods include burning off the skin layer with the tattoo with acid, surgical removal etc.. In the end, you'll be left with a visible scar.
6. Keloid
If keloid runs in your family, stay away from tattoos. Tattooing may form keloid on your body and certainly, it doesn't look good.
7. It's no longer cool
Having a huge tattoo on your neck, shoulder, or back doesn't make you cool and intimidating. Basically, since everyone has them, tattoos are no longer head-turning. The trend nowadays seems to be a simple, minimalistic tattoo done on your wrist or neck; but then again, it doesn't come without a price.
8. Public's perspective
Getting a job or even a date can be twice challenging when you're inked. Army and police departments in several countries don't accept applicants that have tattoos. In South Korea, people with tattoos over 7cm long will fail the physical test. On top of it, public's stigma is hard to get rid of, so be prepared to be judged by your tattoo.
9. It costs a lot
Getting a good-quality tattoo means you have to be ready to spend even thousands of dollars in a well-known tattoo parlor. You can always get the cheaper ones, but are you sure of the final outcome?
Tattoos make for great body art and are a beautiful method of permanent creative expression. But before you head to that parlour, make sure that you have considered all the above points!

Makeup, mostly applied by women but also men nowadays, has always been an effective method to enhance one's appearance. Makeup has also the power to cover many aesthetic problems which have surgery solutions, being a great way to make temporary changes without having to spend a lot. As many people are interested in makeup you may notice the surge of tutorials and beauty product reviews found on different social media platforms.
However, despite all those tutorials, those who are new to makeup; or even those who have been using makeup for many years may be using it wrong. How so? Instead of enhancing your appearance, once you 'commit' one of these makeup mistakes, you may have age yourself unintentionally. Here, we have compiled several makeup mistakes you need to look out for:
1. Concealer
Many things can go wrong when you apply concealer, but basically there are 2 things. One, the tone and two, how much you apply it. For starters, you'd have to find a concealer that matches your skin tone; not too dark or too light. And remember, don't apply tons of it! If you'd like to conceal your eye bags, a light touch in the skin under the eye is necessary, but again, don't overdo it!
2. Brows
Eyebrows function as the frame of your eyes, so yes, it plays a vital role. Many people don't realize this, and ended up with either no visible eyebrows, or instead heavily made-up brows. Instead of dark brows, opt for a lighter brow makeup, probably using eyebrow mascara. The eyebrow mascara is especially handy if you happened to dye your hair and need to match the color of your brows. On the other hand, make sure that you fill in your brows decently. 3. Lashes
Whether you're using fake lashes or not, dry, flaky, spider-look-alike lashes are never a good sight. If you're applying mascara, make sure that it makes your lashes look voluminous, but separated. No clumpy lashes look good on anyone! Applying mascara on your lower lashes is also not a wise move, since it emphasizes your eye bags and dark circles.
4. Wearing black eyeliner
In certain cases, black eyeliner does make your eyes look bigger and more impactful. Softer shades like charcoal or chocolate will make you look younger, so go for these colors next time you go makeup shopping.
5. Glittery eyeshadow
No, this is not a fashion runway, so you don't actually have to dab crazy-colored –glittery-and-shimmery eye shadows. Not only it will draw unwanted attention to your aging eyes, but it's unstylish. After applying eye makeup, you also want to keep the skin around your eye young by cleaning it softly. Be as careful when you apply eye makeup, since the skin can be very sensitive.
6. Your lips
Be extra careful when it comes to lip makeup. One, you may be tempted to shimmer your lips; falsely hoping it makes you look young. On the contrary, it makes you look like a complete makeup newbie! Instead of metallic or shimmery lipstick, stick to a matte one and a bit of lip gloss for additional sparkle. Two, you don't see the importance of lip liner. Yes, lining your lips actually makes a difference, since as you age, fine lines may form around your lips. Don't forget that wearing dark, heavy lipstick is so outdated; and again, go for a simple gloss instead.
7. Blush
Instead of applying blush straight to the apples of your cheeks, apply along the cheekbones instead. When choosing color, stay away from really bright colors, like red or brick-colored shades, and blend well when applying to keep it natural. A subtler look is always preferred, so don't go overboard as well.
8. Your makeup base
You surely need to pay extra attention when it comes to makeup base. No great look has ever been pulled off a messy makeup base. There are some things to look out for. One, your foundation. Two, your powder. And three, your skin care. Let's start with your foundation. Like your concealer, your foundation needs to reflect your real skin tone. Foundation is meant to be used moderately to avoid cakey look and drier skin. Before applying foundation, though, don't skip primer. This is to achieve a flawless look, and to make sure your makeup stays longer, especially if you are too busy to retouch it. When choosing powder, get one with the HD formula that won't highlight your wrinkles or creases.
9. Your skin care
