Nothing screams holiday season like gifts, snow, Christmas tree, and… candy cane eyeliner. If this is your first time hearing about this beauty trend, relax. Truth is, not many people have heard about this mesmerizing makeup currently taking the beauty world by storm. While candy canes are often enjoyed by your taste buds, this candy cane eyeliner is also an eye candy.
The look is basically composed of two colors, red and white; but you can always add more colors according to your liking. To start, you'd need red and white liquid eyeliners.
Directions: The first step is incredibly tricky, creating winged effect with your white liner. You would have to be extra careful and steady to keep the liner neat, but once it dries up; the next step would be slashing the white liner with red eyeliner. Spring cleaning is always a good time to empty your closet and make a list of clothes you no longer use. However, this can also mean one thing: a pile of unused trousers, shirts, and blouses that you can no longer fit in your closet. Uh-oh!
Don't panic! Although you can always donate them; why don't you try experimenting with some of your old clothes? Moreover, you can save money instead of shopping for new clothes.
The simplest outfit you can make is a summer must-have item, crop tops. Be ready to boast about your handmade crop top, only by preparing leggings, a button-down shirt, a scarf and scissors.
Although it sounds bizarre, a simple trick can magically transform your old leggings to a simple, body-fit crop top. To start, fold your leggings in half, then cut the crotch part to make create a hole for the collar. You can adjust how low you want the collar-cut to be, and whether it's V-shaped or U-shaped. In general, cutting 4 or 5 inches would be perfect. Viola! You're done with your first crop top!
Moving on to a more complicated tied-up crop top using your old button-down shirt. First, remove sleeves using scissors. Then, to create an ultimate crop-top look, cut off bottom half of shirt. Again, you can decide how cropped you want your shirt to be. However, don't cut everything off and leave a strip alongside the buttons in the front. To make sure your shirt isn't boring, use scissors to create a frayed-look. Be careful with your fingers during the process! Once you're done, you can tie up the strip and you're finally done!
The last item you can put into good use is an old scarf to create a strapless crop top. Perfect for extremely hot days, this crop top idea is so simple you won't need scissors. You'd only have to fold the scarf into two, wrap it behind your back, twist both ends in front and tie it in the back. So simple!

The coldest season of the year is steadily coming closer, and for some, it's time to take out fur coats and warm clothing from the bottom of the closet. As winter is here, staying warm is the top priority for most of us.
However, you might be surprised, that not only humans that would shiver in cold when temperature starts to drop. Nicola Congdon and her mother Ann, realized that the chickens that came from battery cages had thin feathers, and they easily got cold. Nicola and Ann, who re-home those chickens, found out that the chickens which live under poor conditions in battery cages tend to pull their feathers out in frustration, and found a perfect way for them to stay warm: chicken sweaters.
Now, now. We know how ridiculous it must've sound. Chicken sweaters? Like sweaters for chickens? The answer is yes!
According to Nicola, the hens actually love the chicken sweaters she put on them. She knitted the sweaters herself, and has quite a range of chicken sweaters on her collection. Nicola further explained that the chicken sweaters had gotten so popular, she got inquiries from Canada and from her neighbors who would like to purchase the handmade sweaters. This opportunity is used to encourage donations for orphans suffering from AIDS in South Africa.
However, John Suscovich, an experienced Farm Manager at Camps Road Farm, shared his thoughts on the booming chicken sweaters through Youtube. On the video John explained that chickens are actually capable of growing an additional layer of feathers during winter time. He also added that chickens eat more food, generate heat, and capture it in the extra layer of feathers; and thus, they don't need any knitted wear.
John also warned that putting sweaters on your chicken would have reverse effect, and it's better to add a little heat to the cage rather than clothing them. It would be much better for the chickens to recoup the lost feathers themselves or keep them indoor. John concluded that chickens have learned to adapt themselves to the weather and won't need any human intervention to keep them warm.
Bottom line, chicken sweaters are cute, adorable and Pinterest-worthy, but if you're more concerned about the chickens' well-being, inform yourself before clothing them.

X-presion Creativos' is definitely not new when it comes to creative hairdo. They also blew minds with pixelated hair color technique that results in eye-popping graphic design. They made it again into the headline with pixel-Mario which they launched in Tokyo, Japan through a hair conference. The unique design took around a week to be done, and it's their way to "honor video game culture that framed our childhood." It's hard to argue with this statement, since Mario is not just any outdated game character you'll soon forget; the plumbing game character is an icon of childhood fun.
Much hard work was poured into the project. The technique used is very much like how an architect work, or layering on Adobe Photoshop. Their hard work certainly didn't go to waste judging by how this hair art managed to gather overwhelming interest from onlookers.

Kate, who takes pride in her craftsmanship and uniqueness, came up with this aesthetically pleasing felt witch hat made of 100% real sheep wool. Each hat is carefully hand-made, and precisely put together individually. You can say, each hat has its own fingerprint, since she strives to create unique products. The hats are made from square one; not crocheted or knitted. This is why it's understandable that it takes her around 3 days to finish a hat.
Kate's love for mythical creatures such as the witch and her felting talent are what pushed her to work on these amazing hats. While not many would be interested in such hats, Kate stays true to her passion.
