Youtuber Matt Amys (not to be confused with Amy Matts, who is exclusively on Vimeo) reworked the Planet Earth 2 trailer with human screams. It is ridiculous. And by ridiculous, I mean amazing.
Glitters, glitters, glitters! Nothing screams festivity like the shiny glitters. The latest hair trend, the glitter roots hair takes your love for glitter to a whole new level; who says it's unacceptable to sprinkle glitter on your hair roots? Then again, if you don't know how to do it right, you may end up looking like you've got sparkling dandruff. Totally not cool.
To save you from any hair disaster, self-taught makeup artist Shae is here to save the day. Through a video uploaded on her YouTube channel, Shae shared a thorough tutorial on how to recreate this quirky trend.
To begin, you'll need to get yourself a salon bowl, or basically just any bowl will do (you may want to use an old one though, since there's a good chance you won't be able to use it anymore). Then, get a tint brush, extra strong hair wax (or pomade if you don't have one around), and finally a tube of hair gel! And also, last but not the least, you'll need colorful glitters to apply on your roots.
Let's get started!
First, you'd have to squeeze quite an amount of hair gel to the bowl. Then, goes the glitter inside! You can mix several colored glitters in; there's no fixed color combination, so feel free to mix any color you like. However, it's better to start with lighter colors, and add darker colors next. Next step, grab your towel and then start applying the mixture on your roots! Make sure you apply it evenly, though, all the way to the back of your head.
Once you're done, use a hairdryer to blow dries your roots for 5 to 10 minutes until the glittered wax sticks perfectly to your roots. Once it has dried, move on to the next layer; the center! This time, instead of hair gel, you'd have to grab your hair wax or pomade and if possible, latex gloves. Then start applying the wax to your scalp, the middle part of your hair. Then, grab the glitter and start applying it on the waxed scalp. Finally, apply hair spray to make sure your glittered roots stay!
Shae also shared her tips on removing the glitter; all you need is clarifying shampoo to get rid of the glitter. Are you ready to glitter up your roots?
Few days away from the end of the year, you are probably occupied with errands whilst preparing for the holiday. To add to the festivity, why don't you consider these gorgeous New Year's Eve nail art ideas? The nail arts aren't just pretty; they're a great conversation starter as well. Not only that, it can be said for sure that all eyes would be on your fingers once you go out in one of these nail arts.
1. Reverse french nail art This nail art is just like the French manicure, just upside down. Use gold nail polish at the bottom of the cuticle for more festivity!
2. Copper nails For a more down-to-earth manicure, go for this coppery-black nail art. You'd only need to use one nail polish to create this nail art and transparent coating to ensure your nail art stays for the next few days.
3. Golden nails with "stardust" coating New Year equals champagne and champagne equals to the color gold. Get into the New Year spirit in this nail art; gold base and glittery top coat is the best combination to start a sparkling new year! This nail art is created by Korean editorial manicurist Jin Soon Choi.1. Golden nails with "stardust" coating
4. Silver nails If you're more of a simple person, this all-silver nail art would be a better suit for you. Finish it with high-shine mirrored coating for a fancier look.
5. Silver foil nails However, if you find a plain, all-silver nail art too boring, try getting this foil tips nail look, made by nail artist Naomi Yasuda. You can recreate the look using transparent nail polish as the base and top it with silver nail polish on the tips.
6. Confetti nail art Another thing you can't forget when it's New Year's Eve is the blast of confetti signaling the end of the previous year and the start of the new year.
8. Times Square Ball or Disco Ball? The iconic ball New York City's Times Square ball drop is something you can't forget when we're talking about New Year. The nail stylist Chelsea Queen created this gorgeous, disco ball look-a-like nail art for you to try out.
This year is indeed the year of strange beauty trends, but not only for women. The latest trend among bearded men, apparently, is the beard lights. Now, we know you're very much puzzled. In fact, we were once too! But lo and behold! This trend is actually very in time especially now that is Christmas time!
Trends involving facial hair are nothing new, really. This year we had seen at least two of them; beard baubles (involving Christmas ornaments hanging on your beard) and glitter beards (yes, literally). But nothing would be able to prepare us for this super hipster-y, complicated trend.
The trend's origin is nothing other than the annual Christmas Makers Market in East Village E20, London and is named "London's Hippest Postcode". The annual market is set to be open on Saturdays and Sundays for three weekends running, and has been opened since November 26th. If you want to pay a visit, make sure you come between 11am-6pm on Saturdays and 11am-4pm on Sundays. Only then, you'd be able to try out this unique trend. In the #PimpMyTree pop-up unit established across the market, you can get your beard done for FREE. Yes, the beard lights trend isn't just eccentrically beautiful; all you need to do is pay the stand a visit and you can promptly share quirky pictures of lights on your beard.
The Christmas look is also very colorful, since you can also choose to use several colored lights all together. If you'd like something simpler, however, you're free to choose a one-colored lights look. Either way, this trend, despite harsh criticisms on how unpractical it is, doesn't seem to die down anytime soon.

Have you done your Christmas tree shopping? If you still have no Christmas tree on your possession yet, you'd definitely love these DIY Christmas tree ideas that you can make from scratch. Materials used are also very easy to find, and inexpensive on top of it. Below, we have compiled several best Christmas tree made of everyday items you can try making this Christmas. Check them out!
1. Lace and pearls trees Just like the ribbon trees, wrap your paper cone in lace or stick dozens of pearls on it. We admire your dedication, but hey! Anything for a beautiful Christmas tree, right?
2. Minimalistic pastel trees Thirsty for some ~aesthetic~? If you're looking for a Christmas tree that'd look good on your Instagram feed, try making this mini wooden Christmas tree.
3. DIY Mod Light-Up Trees This Christmas tree is super easy and simple to make; you'd only need paper mache cones, gold spray paint, glue, knife, clear marbles, and battery operated lights. Though the point of the tree would be the sparkling lamps, you can always leave the lights behind for an even simpler version of this already simple Christmas tree (we're side-eyeing you for your laziness).
4. Book trees This Christmas tree is perfect for bibliophiles, but not at the same time. Why, you'd need to tear of papers from your books, stick it to the Styrofoam cones and lace the edges with glitters. You love your books too much? Use fake feathers and card stocks to replace the book pages.
5. Ribbon Trees If making holes and inserting light bulbs are too difficult, you can always opt for this ribbon Christmas tree. All you need to do is make a paper cone and wrap the ribbon around it. Ta-da! You're done! You can also substitute the ribbons with gift-wrapping paper or ropes.
6. Golden leaf trees If you're looking for a more luxurious-looking Christmas tree, try sticking gold metallic leaves on your cones rather than just any material. Looking fab!
7. Pinecones trees Do you have pinecones scattered around your backyard? Rather than throwing them out, paint them green and add a small star decoration to get a mini Christmas tree for (almost) free.
8. Coffee filters trees (yes, you read it right) Are you a coffee mania? Can't wait to let everyone know about your love for coffee? Get creative! Take out your coffee filters and carefully stack them to create this DIY Christmas tree. The coffee filters surprisingly make a wonderful Christmas tree, and you can always add a couple of buttons as the decoration.
7. Yarn-wrapped trees This Christmas tree would take less than an hour to make, and you can use yarns you have at home. Wrap it around the Styrofoam cones, glue it and add some artificial snow for a more festive Christmas.

Finding time to do some shopping for Christmas decoration can be quite difficult if you're leading a busy life. But don't worry, because you can always make yourself some DIY Christmas decorations. Not only they're easy to make, you virtually don't have to leave your house to make these adorable ornaments. Best part? Rather than spending bucks on decorations, you can save more and buy yourself better Christmas gifts! The decorations are also very social media sharing worthy, so be ready for envious comments asking how did you make them! Now that you're hyped up, let's get down to the business.
1. Snowmen on Orbs The first ornament would need a baby blue Christmas ball, some white paint, and your fingers! To begin, paint the bottom of the Christmas orb all the way to the middle. Then, carefully dip your finger in the white paint, and stick it to the orb. Ta-da, your fingerprint is now a snowman! Finally, decorate your snowmen using an oil-based marker, some orange and red paint, and toothpicks to draw their noses and scarves.
2. Gum Machine The next DIY ornament requires a transparent Christmas ball, a miniature pot, some paint (in any color), and sprinkles! First, you'd need to paint the miniature pot, let it dry, and while doing so, insert the sprinkles into the Christmas ball (fill only half of the ball). Put back the cap and glue the painted miniature pot upside down, and you're done!
3. Mini Wreath What's a Christmas without wreaths? Make your own using Mason Jar lid, yarns or string, and some glue! Let's get started! First, glue the bottom of the lid, and carefully wrap the yarn around it. Once the lid is all wrapped, glue one point and remember to leave a bit of opening so that you can hang it on your tree. Finish it by gluing a ribbon or any desired decoration.
4. Starbucks Cups Ornament The iconic Starbucks holiday cup is a must when we're talking about Christmas. You can recreate the cup as a Christmas tree ornament using a cardboard, pencil, flannel, and glue. To begin, you'll have to draw a shape of the cup on the cardboard (you can search a pattern on Google for a more precise shape). Cut the shape out, and stick the "cup" on another piece of cardboard and cut it out again, so you'll have two "cups". The first "cup" would act as the base, but make sure to separate the lid and the cup on the second "cup". Place the lid cutout on a white flannel, and trace it carefully but place the cup cutout on a layer of red flannel. Cut both flannels, and stick it on both the lid cutout and the cup cutout. Once you're done, cut a piece of white cardstock and stick it on the middle of the cup; it'll act as the sleeve you have on your Starbucks cup when you're ordering hot drinks. To finish it, cut a green, heart-shaped flannel and place it on the cardstock.
5. Glitter Christmas Bowl The last ornament is extremely simple; all you need to do is to fill a clear Christmas orb with glitters, and decorate the exterior using press-on letter stickers. For instance, you can spell Noel or X-mas using the stickers. You're done! Which one is your favorite?

Christmas is almost here! The 25th is now ever closer, and if you haven't think of any hairstyle you're going to Christmas parties in, these Christmas hair accessories would be a great start. They're more than eye candies; they're very practical as well! You won't have to do much other than carefully tuck them between your hair strands. Check the best collection of Christmas hair accessories below!
1. Crowns Be a princess this Christmas! If you're aspired to be Elsa of Frozen, a jeweled crown is the best shot you've got. However, if you prefer something slightly more toned down, you can get yourself a gorgeous crystal crown adorned with quartz crystals. A leather strap adds to the "boho" feel, and really, it's just so pretty in general. So princess-y or boho goddess-y?

2. Headbands Out of all Christmas hair accessories, headbands dominate the list. Are you a feline lover? Then you may be interested in a glitter cat ears headband, or a jeweled cat ears headband; if you prefer something less shiny. Either way, both are perfect for cat lovers. Not so much of an animal lover? There are tons of headband options you can choose from. My personal favorite is this black rose crown headband that'd go perfectly with any LBD even when it's not Christmas. Then you've got crown tiara headband with considerably-sized jewels. Or hey! Go all studded with a simple studded headband.

Not festive enough? Nothing screams holiday season louder than an embellished headband with sparkly decorations on top. Still not enough? Get a jingle bell headband that's adorned with Christmas decoration on top. You can't get more Christmas-y than this, really. Can't decide between a crown or a headband? Why not both? The royal queen crown headband is a perfect choice if you want something classical and modern at the same time. Jeweled velvet headband is just as royal-like, and you can always get a headband adorned with oversized emerald stones lined with gold. Finally, for flower crown lovers, get this berry-colored rose headband that'll complete your look.
3. Head wraps and hair ties Embrace your natural hair this Christmas using a black and white striped head wrap. Can't stand your long hair when it's dinner time? Tie your hair using a seasonal hair ties, or braid it if you have extra time!
Fotos: freepeople, missguidedus, forever 21
4. Hair clips If you don't like fancy accessories like crowns or headbands, go simple with minimalistic hair clips. Star decorations don't only belong on top of the Christmas trees; you can carry it with you around in a 3D star hair clip. This hair clip would suit silver sequin dress best, but feel free to dress up in other outfits. If you want something more subtle, why don't you get a pearled hair bow or a pearl hair comb? These hair clips would be best used when you're on a more formal setting, or if you want to attract attention to your dress or shoes. If you want something more festive, however, get green and red mini bow clips to get into the Christmas spirit. Crystal fan pins are also a perfect choice for simpler dresses.
5. Buns, buns, buns. Who says you can't rock topknots and buns when it's Christmas? As long as you have ways to make sure your neck stays warm, you can try out various hair accessories for buns. A lace bun holder, for instance, is classy and simple at the same time. Or you can go for a bun cuff that can also be a statement bracelet when worn on your wrist. Talk about killing two birds with one stone! You can also get a bun cover with intricate flower detailing that'd complement your vintage look perfectly. Something more colorful? We got you covered! A tinsel-trimmed scrunchie would hold your messy bun as you party the night away.

Whether it's an accident or by nature, having thin eyebrows is a nightmare for some. Growing them is definitely not an easy task, but it's impossible to turn a blind eye on your eyebrows when they play a vital role on your face. You may recall a saying that goes, "If eyes were a painting, then eyebrows are the frame." A beautiful painting would undoubtedly look even better with a frame as beautiful.
Thin or over-plucked eyebrows can be a problem, true; but don't lose hope. Here, we have compiled several tips you can put into practice for a bolder, thicker brows.
1. Stop tweezing them Yes, your eyebrows may grow on random spots and make you look unkempt (!!) but if you stop plucking or waxing them, there's a good chance you can grow better brows. Don't feel down if your eyebrows aren't identical with one another; that's just how they're meant to be. So put the tweezers down and stop being stressed over your brows!
2. Tweeze them in a row method Tweezing eyebrows in rows meaning you pluck out only hairs, that are in a sense 'stranded' or plucking hairs that are not close to your brow. However, this means you have to continually tweeze the 'stranded' hairs from time to time.
3. Exfoliate them Not only your skin, your eyebrows actually need to be exfoliated. Exfoliating them can actually make thin eyebrows grow, and you'd only need a toothbrush to do the trick.
4. Use brow razors Not many of us are familiar with this tool, but according to an esthetician, brow razors are easier to use and speed up growth.
5. Put on serum Hair growth serum is often a good choice for those with hair loss problem, but do you know there are serums to promote eyelashes and eyebrows growth?
6. Fill them in Last but not the least, the power of makeup! Filling in your eyebrows allows you to have fuller eyebrows without spending a lot. Make sure you watch tutorials on how to fill them in without looking unnatural.
This is a short but sweet video called "I fell in love with a painting" by Zach King. It shows paintings coming to life! Which I always suspected was possible, but now we have proof! Mwahahahhahahaha! Just kidding, there's nothing sinister about any of this, I've just always wanted to laugh like a villain and […]

Going around the house in a pair of stitch slippers doesn't sound like a great idea when it's summer and the sun is blazing outside. A pair of simple, thin slippers would be a much better idea, but you'd definitely change your mind when the seasons change and the temperature starts to drop.
While you may fancy your lightweight slippers during warm days, nothing prepares you better for winter than this pair of stitch slippers. But wait, not just any stitch slippers. We're specifically talking about this pair of green (and rainbow-colored) stitch slippers!
Foto: Bonita Patterns & Lianka Azulay/ Etsy
The genius behind these fluffy slippers is Lianka Azulay, a Brazil-born woman who has started crocheting since she was 7. Lianka then came up with the crocodile (or you can call it dragon, if you're a fan of Game of Thrones) stitch slippers. Lianka revealed, her love for dragons, elves, and other mythical creatures which inspired her to create the captivating footwear. The DIY crocheted boots aren't just unique and cozy; they're also a perfect gift idea, especially since winter is nearby.
Lianka herself designed her very first crocodile stitch slippers for her baby when she found out she was pregnant. Nothing is cuter than crocodile stitch slippers in rainbow colors, after all. Which is why, if someone you know is expecting and you happen to have a lot of time on your hands, you can always try crocheting the stitch slippers as a unique gift.

As the above title suggests, this is a three minute compilation of cats stealing money. So that's why I'm perpetually (PURRPETUALLY?????) broke — cats have been stealing my money! Just kidding, it's because I make bad choices. Not just with money, but also basically in general, TBH.
This is The Travel Hoodie Pillow. It's sold by the same people who gave us The Hoodie Pillow. But this HoodiePillow? This Hoodie Pillow is for traveling. It's been a long night. You just came back from a girl's night with your besties, and the only thing you wanted to do right now is to sink your whole body in the bed. Never mind the shower; the heels were killing you and you have never felt so exhausted.
But wait, you had to erase your makeup.
You groaned inwardly. Is it really necessary?, you mumbled to yourself. After all, it's only a one-time thing. You can always get back to your daily skin care routine the next day.
Before you decide that there's no harm in sleeping with your makeup on, let's see what you're getting yourself into every time you decide you can just let the makeup sit on your face all night long.
1. Your facial skin doesn't get to repair itself Your skin is a hard-worker; protecting you all day long and repair itself all night long. Sleeping with your makeup causes your skin to work twice harder and half as effective. Love yourself, wipe off that makeup!
2. You damage your pores If you've been blaming genetics for your clogged and huge pores, it's time to re-inspect your skincare routine. Dr. Orentreich, a dermatologist, confirmed that makeup does stretch your pores and make it look bigger. Uh-oh.
3. Your skin will get dry While makeup boosts your confidence and makes you look twice more attractive, it also absorbs the moisture out of your skin. Leaving it on your face all night long basically calls for trouble; plus dry skin prevents your skin care products to do its job. After washing your face, spare few seconds to apply moisturizer on your face to replace moisture lost during the day.
4. You let pollution gather onto your skin Being exposed to pollution is something none of us can avoid. The moment you step out of your house, you've been constantly bombarded by nasty pollution that can damage your skin. Sunscreen and makeup products, unsurprisingly, is a magnet to these pollutions; so every time you skip night skincare routine, you're keeping all-day's worth of pollution on your skin.
5. You're calling for acne breakouts Let's be frank, we all know this is bound to happen. Clogged pores, oily face, pollution, and bacteria-filled pillowcase are all bad for your skin; but what happens when they're all combined? You do the math.
Truth is, your skin's age isn't always on the same age as your real age. With proper care, your skin can actually be younger, and vice versa. Sleeping with makeup on can lead to collagen breakdown, and thus you're welcoming wrinkles earlier than you have to. Anna Pursglove, a writer for DailyMail UK conducted an experiment in which she didn't remove her makeup for an entire month; even as she slept. The result? Experts confirmed Anna's skin aged by 10 years within a month and caused her initially smooth skin turned cracked and red.
7. Your skin can be irritated Like Anna, many suffer from irritated and parched skin after a night of makeup on. Your skin receives irritants all day long, and not removing your makeup basically locks all the irritants in your skin. Redness doesn't look good, so make sure you wipe off everything before you face-plant your bed.
8. Your eye, eyelashes, and lips are in danger Removing eye and lip makeup can save you from eye irritation and infection, dry lips, and shedding eyelashes. On top of it, tiny hair follicles on your eyelashes can be clogged if you skip night skincare routine; causing small bumps to form. Needless to say, it's painful and can be avoided if you just spend few more minutes to clean it thoroughly. Leaving your lip makeup all night long is also another recipe for trouble, so instead of lipstick apply lip balm before bed instead.
The conclusion? Do your skin a small favor and go to bed with a clean, makeup-free face. Your skin will thank you later.
